Thursday, April 21 – Tonight Jacqui and I went to a cello recital hosted by the UT School of Music at the Alumni Memorial Building. We got to hear 11 pieces, including a piece by our good friend Cecilia. The music was amazing to listen to, and we had a very enjoyable evening.

It’s amazing how neat it is to be able to go to musical performances by students. The music is very good, and it doesn’t cost anything to go, which is an added bonus. We recently discovered this. This past Sunday we went to a performance of Carmina Burana which was also hosted by the UT School of Music with the Chamber Singers, Mens and Women’s Chorale, UT Symphony Orchestra, and several other groups. We had a lovely time there as well.
I’m going to keep my eyes open for more events like these. What a great way to have fun. 🙂

Wednesday, April 20, 2011 – Tonight Jacqui and I went to the Rush for their Centergy Class. It was yoga with some meditation. We did warmup, core stretching, challenge, flexibility, hips, rest, and several others. It was very rejuvenating and felt good. We really enjoyed it, and even though today I am sore, it was a very good thing. We hope to go back and do it again soon!

I was googling this website, and came across a site for an ebook titled, “Healing Cancer Naturally.”
no big deal, but the irony is that the author’s name, strangely enough, is Andrew MacDonald. Now, I didn’t write it, but I think it’s quite a coincidence that I came across this right after making the choice to take a more holistic approach in dealing with my cancer.

I’m not sure if this book is worth reading or not, but I thought it very ironic that the author has the same name as me.
