Help Us Maintain a Positive Attitude Through Chemo

As I get ready to start chemo, the most important thing for me to do is to maintain a positive attitude. We love all of your support, and the biggest thing you can do right now is make stuff for us to hang on the walls… notes of affirmation, photos of nature, crayon scribbles, quotes, whatever. We want to surround ourselves with visible reminders of our large family and your great ‘power‘ to help us stay positive and give us strength. if  you have time, we would love to put up something from you. Give us a shout if you need our address. We are looking forward to your continued support.

Quick Update – chemo to start Tuesday

We found out a few days ago that I will start my chemotherapy treatment this coming Tuesday, July 13, at 9:00 AM.

The chemo will last for 12 sessions, with 2 weeks between each session. My last chemo treatment should be on Tuesday, December 14.

We will not have to do radiation, since my cancer is stage 3, but we will do a PET scan after I finish chemo to be sure the cancer is gone.

I’m dreaming of a cancer-free Christmas, just like the ones I used to know…

Banner Picture

As many of you know, Jacqui and I spent a week in Glacier National Park during June of this year. The photo credit for the mountain picture as the banner on this website goes to Jacqui, who took this picture as a panorama picture on her camera, and then pieced everything together to make it one seamless picture. The view is wonderful! It is the view of the mountains looking south towards the top of the Lee Ridge (Fire) Trail, which is just a few miles south of the Canadian border.

We hope to have more pictures up soon, and thanks to Jacqui for this wonderful picture!
