Day 7 of Blitz Week 2011 for Habitat for Humanity! We were working on the center house with the UT Interfraternity and Panhellenic Groups.
Friday! Last day of Blitz Week before dedication day. Lunch today was pizza, spaghetti, and salad from Papa John’s, the Pizza Palace, and a few other places. Some of the pizza was late because Papa John’s was confused between 11:30AM and 11:30PM, and the delivery driver got there shortly after noon in his little red car with lots of pizza for us.
Today we were a bit thin on volunteers, and we still managed to get a lot done. Lee did a great job putting the porch swing together. Dora and Jacqui caulked everything in the house and then some. Don did a little bit of everything. Volunteers installed door knobs, and I even got to install a few door knobs. The proof is in the pictures, and the house looks REALLY nice!
