Catheter Out

Monday, November 28, 2011 – Day 21: Today we’re getting my catheter out! Soon I will be able to shower without wrapping my chest in plastic and worrying about getting my dressing wet! It’s so wonderful every time my life gets a little bit closer to “normal” again, whatever that means.

Driving Again

Saturday, November 26, 2011 – Day 19: Today I drove for the first time since Nov. 1! It’s amazing the sense of freedom I felt behind the wheel after not driving for over 3 weeks. It was wonderful! I’m looking forward to regaining more control of things as I continue to get better.
