Today is 1 week after my first chemo treatment, and I’m feeling pretty good. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday last week were rough (really tired), but Sunday, Monday and today I’ve been feeling back to normal.
I went in for a checkup today to make sure everything is okay, and my bloodwork looked normal, aside from the expected drop in my white blood cell count.
I found out that I can OWN my hair for another week or two, and then it will probably all fall out. Should be interesting…
In the meantime, I’m free of the doctor until chemo next Tuesday. Time to make some plans and have some fun. Hoping to make it to Alive After Five this Friday, cutting down maple trees on Saturday (see pictures from last time), and Saturday night we’re going to see the Livvid Privvies LIVE and INSIDE at the Downtown Grill & Brewery. Hope everyone reading this has a fun weekend as well.
