Today is the 3rd day after chemo, and is one of the toughest days of the process. The drugs have done almost everything they can do to kill dividing cancer cells, and my body is at its weakest now. That being said, my spirits are still high and I am looking forward to tomorrow, because wonderful things will happen tomorrow!
Tomorrow —
- all the chemo drugs should be out of my system
- my appetite will return
- nausea will not be a problem until the next chemo treatment
- I will feel NORMAL again. YAY!
So even though today will be tough, I will focus in tomorrow and the rewards that it will bring.
