Monday, September 18, 2011 – Good news today! This afternoon we get to cap off our weekend in Nashville with the visit to the Cancer Center at Vanderbilt. During this visit we will learn the time frame for next month’s stem cell treatment. The nice part is though it will be a several month process of doing the transplant and then waiting for my immune system to come back, most if not all of the process will be outpatient, even though daily hospital visits will be the norm for awhile.
The next few months are going to be rough. Really rough. And we’re going to need your help and support more than ever, so we can continue to kick cancer’s a$$. I’ll post again late today or tomorrow with an update on what we learned at Vanderbilt.
